December 12, 2016 – The crew was called to assist the Greentree Fire Department with an early morning commercial structure fire that progressed to five alarms.
Single vehicle crash, Crafton
October 30, 2016 – A single vehicle crash was reported on East Steuben Street. 128 Rescue was dispatched to control the hazards associated with the crash.
Cat in a tree call, Rosslyn Farms
September 15, 2016 – A cat was stuck in a tree, about 25 feet up. We used a ladder to reach the cat and carry him back down to the ground.

Structure fire, Carnegie
July 24, 2016 – 128 Engine was requested to assist with a late evening garage fire. No injuries were reported, but the structure was a total loss.
Natural Gas Leak, Crafton
February 20, 2016 – The crew responded to a report of a natural gas leak. They turned off the gas to the home and ventilated. The home owner was able to safely return home with some assistance from the gas company.
Motor Vehicle Crash, Thornburg
February 8, 2016 – A vehicle crashed and landed in Chartiers Creek. No injuries were reported. The crew assisted by illuminating the area for the recovery company to safely remove the vehicle.

April 29, 2015 – Rescue 128 was called to Carnegie Towers to assist with a stuck elevator. While performing the rescue, the building’s fire alarm sounded.
A resident stated that there was a kitchen fire on the seventh floor. The fire was brought under control without any injuries reported.
